HIGHLIGHTS

Effective for all Mortgage Loans as of April 30, 2026, you must use the Custodial Bank Account Management Application to complete Letter of Authorization forms detailing Custodial Account Information. 

 

Primary Changes

You must use the Custodial Bank Account Management Application to complete all Letter of Authorization forms detailing information for each Custodial Account being

  • created,
  • transferred, or
  • closed.

 

As of the Effective Date, the PDF versions of the following Letter of Authorization forms will no longer be available:

  • Letter of Authorization for Multifamily P&I Custodial Account (Form 2050); 
  • Letter of Authorization for Multifamily Collateral Agreement Custodial Account (Form 2051); and
  • Letter of Authorization for Multifamily T&I Custodial Account (Form 2052).

 

Custodial Bank Account Management Application Requirements

To execute the new applicable forms, you must:

  • use the Custodial Bank Account Management Application within 30 days after: 
    • opening or closing a Custodial Account; or
    • changing the Eligible Depository or Custodial Account information; 
  • reference the Job Aid and FAQ documents for assistance; and
  • contact your Technology Manager for the appropriate application provisioning.
